And by funny, I mean ridiculous. As in, “If you don’t knock it off with all of this funny business, there is going to be Big Trouble.”. I do not know what is going on around here with that Sweetboy lately, but shoo-ee! You’d think a holy horde of hooligans have taken up residence. But no. It’s just one quirky 9 year ol’ boy.
I give you… Exhibit A:

The defendant’s response was, and I quote, “It looked like the bar at gymnastics. I was practicing.”
I’d also like to present Exhibit B:
And finally, Sweetboy has blonde hair and blue eyes. Armed with that pertinent information, I present our final exhibit of the evening. To this, I can only ask, “What The What?” I give you… his self-portrait from school:
Indeed.

oh I laughed right out loud! hysterically adorable! love that kid!
He’s definitely a keeper. At least another 10 years or so… 😉
This made me (almost) choke on the cereal I’m eating. The first exhibits were funny enough, but the self-portrait? Just too awesome. I have that exact white table…I’ll make a note to tell my kids that No Sitting Allowed! 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a wonderful comment! It was a fun surprise to hear from someone new! 🙂 After reading just two of your posts, I’m going to add you to my blogroll…this is one I don’t want to forget!
That table seems to make the rounds. Christmas Tree Shops for mine. Thank you for stopping by! I’m so glad it gave you a giggle.
Ohemmgeee…that self portrait just about slayed me. Literally. I was eating my lunch when I saw it and it made me giggle which made me choke.
Nothing like near death experiences while innocently reading someone’s blog post!
LOL, and that shorely IS good medicine! 😉
Oh my word. I love that boy!
Right? And, honestly, I’d have thought yesterday he was able to get lots of these wiggles out with your guy. But, no. Sadly, an errant dress-up earing met it’s demise in All The Hopping this morning. And you can imagine how that went over with the girl. Ah, life with kidlets…
Luv it!
I daresay with boys, it only gets worse. At least that’s my experience so far. Best of luck to you! He sounds like a fun kid with a great imagination! That’s a good thing.

Oh dear john. It gets worse you say? I’d send him back, but I’m pretty much attached at this point. I’ll take all the luck I can get with him. Thank you!
Oh. My. God. That was fantastic.
That kid is A GENIUS.
Thanks for stopping by my blog so I could find you on the internet – you slay me!
TheSuniverse – high praise! Thank you! You slay me too. And, I’m biased, of course, but I think he’s pretty much da bomb myself. Even if he DOES forget he’s not a monkey sometimes.
